Remember, ADHD affects adults too—not just children.
Adults with ADHD struggle as much as they do because the world expects them to perform at a high executive functioning level. Executive Functions are brain-based skills that help us do what we know we are supposed to do. But ADHD drives a wedge between what you know and what you actually do. This can mean poor follow-through and basically being all over the place. The world may tolerate this in children, but not in adults. Adults with ADHD are often judged on a less forgiving scale.
Failures are simply information. Are you ready to turn toward them?

How can ADHD coaching help?
Whether or not you have a diagnosis of ADHD, coaching can help you do better with the symptoms. Here are some things you can expect:
Coaching is a widely accepted treatment for ADHD symptoms. Doctors and psychologists recommend it because they know that medication is only 50% of the solution. Coaching provides the other 50% by addressing the self-management difficulties that go with ADHD. When you coach with me, you will learn the skills for living the life you want - not just the life you have been surviving. You will feel more in control, confident and effective in your day-to-day life.
We will work with ALL parts of your being – including your ADHD symptoms. EVERYTHING THAT HOLDS YOU BACK from living up to your full potential will be part of your curriculum. Limiting beliefs, barriers and ADHD symptoms are all opportunities for you to learn the skills that go with living the life you want.

I will support you during setbacks -- they are a normal part of making change. And I will ensure we pay attention to your eco-system so that all parts of your life are balanced and aligned with your goals. Through it all, I will ensure we stay focused on your goals.
